As far as insanity over the land claims. Most BC tribes never signed a treaty. The Deputy Justice Minister warned BC , in the 1870's, that it cannot join Canada, as it was illegal under the law. Put yourselves in the original people's shoes. They have asked for only Crown land in BC, no private residences , for decades. My community, under zero legal obligation, made our own treaty with them, long ago, and our homes are now safe. Why did we do it? It was the right thing to do. Canada was taken under the legal term Terra Nulius, empty land. No one living there. Natives could not hire lawyers, or meet in groups of more than two, nor buy postage stamps. There are Court Rulings, and Royal Commisions that back up what I write, but they are not followed in practice., nor on your publically funded media.
You only own your land "at the pleasure of the Crown", so we should have also been working on that. A separate issue comfy Canadians insulate themselves from.
UNDRIP will betray the Natives, but we need to take responsiblity and fix this.
We are no different than colonial settlers accessing land & refusing to take a critical look at the facts. If we had looked, this would have been solved years ago. We have paid our hydro bill to the building owner since around that time. So it is a private owndership of electricity, I guess, and I do not understand how that works.
I have looked for the 5G boxes or whatever, looking for stuff that looks out of place, etc, and I have seen little evidence that we are inundated with it. They would need to install a whole bunch of boxes or whatever they are called all over our building, from what I understand of how 5G works.
I read that they want to create "neighbourhoods" but do not yet see evidence of that. Only see Pravda 2.0 if one of my independent news channels includes clips, as I prefer not to be gagging on propaganda.
