Constructing a new definition of currency, the philosophy behind it, our relationship with it, and the revolutionary possibility of using currency to transform society onto a positive pathway has arrived.
We are all too familiar with the harmful and dystopian ways currency is being implemented to alter humanity and the world around us.
The need to maintain thriving local businesses and exchange of services will become paramount for survival as we work to squelch this global tyranny.
GLOBAL LEADERS MAKE THEIR MOVE
What was considered a conspiracy theory a year ago is officially underway: the implementation of a Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDG) by self-appointed overlords. We have all heard about it by now—no need to go into great details.
Recently, our global despots, the G20, decided it was time to implement the global digital currencies and IDs “on their respective” populations despite the consistent protests of citizens worldwide.
At the beginning of the year, the EU announced they are moving forward with Digital IDs and Wallets on Europeans’ cell phones.
Is all of this a done deal? By no means. Nigeria recently proved that pushing back can overcome what seems impossible odds. So, after a year and a half of incessant strong-arming of Nigerians to accept digital currency, the Nigerian government abandoned the idea.
It went from this:
To this:
Now, with the 15-Minute-Cities-push throughout the U.K., covert cells of “Blade Runners," many dressed in black, have taken it upon themselves to cut down carbon-taxing surveillance cameras and overwhelm the court system by not following the London mayor Sadiq Khan’s 15-Minute City plan.
It seems U.K. representatives, similar to ours, continued to ignore their citizens’ cries to stop the digital surveillance build-out, generating this public response:
ULEZ 'Blade Runners' want to take down 'EVERY one of London’s Sadiq Khan's low-emission cameras'
And this:
REDEFINING CURRENCY & REBUILDING COMMUNITIES
I’m not advocating going “Blade Runner” on anyone. But now would be the time to start creatively flexing our People Power muscle.
Now would also be the time to ensure we are in positions of freedom, not surveillance. Ensuring we have social connections and abundance, not isolation and scarcity.
To stay out of scarcity, one must have some form of currency: a localized asset ready for exchange to ensure basic needs are met while spanning the gap between the (attempted) launch of the CBDG/Digital ID prison and the (citizen-led) annihilation of this global plan for domination.
How does one conduct business as usual if forced into a digital realm while simultaneously fighting against a digital dystopia? How do we prepare when most Americans haven’t given economic security serious thought? How do we ensure our basic needs are met if we cannot conduct elementary exchanges of goods and services at the local level? What mechanisms are at our fingertips to allow us to conduct business and do so at the drop of a hat?
When the dollar plummets and Big Banks fail, yes, we have cryptocurrency, but it’s dependent upon a functioning energy grid and internet. Not only may these not be available, but cryptos have yet to be user-friendly for the masses.
If the banks close and reopen with only digital wallets available, how do we keep our communities economically functioning when we no longer have a valuable dollar in place to survive?
We have gold and silver, but not everyone has these, and how does one divvy up pricey gold bars for a latte?
The population at large shortcircuits when thinking about this. They get overwhelmed. Feel powerless. Get consumed by fear.
Interestingly enough, it is at this very moment of societal collapse and the end of the economy as we know it that we will have our greatest opportunity.
But, damn, this is one hell of a tightrope we walk.
ASSET-BACKED COMMUNITY BETA TEST
Back in 2014, I was concerned about the economy, though, in relative terms, it was a lot more stable than it is now. Nonetheless, I had concerns, and I knew they were valid: What economic safety net do we have when the dollar ceases to exist and a totalitarian system attempts to be implemented?
During that time, I launched our local TimeBank (not a barter, but an exchange program) in Western Nevada County, CA. For six years, I and an additional administrator operated the TimeBank, holding monthly in-person orientations, potlucks, public outreach events, and weekly newsletters.
We had hundreds of members, a few thousand hours exchanged, and an economic connection to 40 other nations and hundreds of cities and communities worldwide with TimeBank chapters.
COVID took the wind out of the sale of our local Hour Nevada County TimeBank, as it did many things, BUT I was okay with that. We had tested “the waters” with TimeBanking, which was very navigable: our TimeBank had passed the beta test.
HOW TO INVEST IN OURSELVES IF WE BELIEVE WE HAVE NOTHING TO INVEST
If the dollar takes its final breath, how do we jumpstart a new currency without the plans, infrastructure, public awareness, education, confidence, and so on? How do we instantaneously launch a local economy with essentially nothing more than a pen and notebook?
How do cities and towns, washed out, blown away, and incinerated into ash from “weather wars” —and fingerprintless-DEWs— invest in their reconstruction when nobody can do so unless it benefits BlackRock and the rest of the transnational rat pack? The only investors positioned to invest into “rebuilding” war-torn towns such as Lahaina are casino owners, 5-star hotel franchises, mega-mansion homeowners, and industries owned by the transnational cabal and the Uber-wealthy “Oprahs of the world?”
SIGNS OF CRACKING WITHIN THE GLOBAL CABAL?
Then there is BlackRock and the like. Recently, Blackrock was exposed for investing $429 million into the Chinese Military.
We know BlackRock, Blackstone, and Vanguard benefit from the “Lahaina’s” of the world.
While we tie together a pretty serious geopolitical hypothesis, we can’t underestimate the importance of local action.
As I have mentioned in past posts, we face a tiny cabal controlling every lever of our existence. They are all in bed with each other, and it’s time we rip our dependency from their predatory arms.
Fortunately, a few rare birds remain in office, including US Congressman Warren Davidson. He proposed a bill to ban the Federal Reserve from creating the dreaded CBDC. This will undoubtedly help if passed.
But what if it doesn't pass?
BRINGING IT BACK HOME: DIGITAL CURRENCY VS. COMMUNITY WEALTH
This brings me back to TimeBanking. Some Americans have heard of this, but most still need to fully understand the philosophy and practice of TimeBanking or its revolutionary potential.
For many generations, our monetary system has been backed up by gold, then oil, and now zeros and ones, wars, weapons, drugs, and, most disturbing, human trafficking. This “economic engine” has resulted in a global economy built upon resource extraction, death, and mayhem. Much of which we see growing exponentially daily.
I can’t tell you how tired I am of this.
But this evil darkness has kept the world, as we know it, spinning. Keeping those “assets” in demand.
Now, imagine a world fed by a system not built on war, death, or destruction but kindness and good deeds.
I know this is the moment most of you are reading this and thinking, please, get real. That is SO Pollyanna.
Yes, it may be, but after six years of administrating our local TimeBank, we experienced and undertook a very successful beta test of just that: a currency built upon good deeds. By keeping an accounting of our good deeds down to the minute allowed it to become an international currency.
The exchange of services varied widely, and I will give you my personal Hour Nevada County online TimeBank account as an example:
In the world of Timebanking, we equally exchange time for time. Your time is equally valuable as mine, whether you are a dog walker or a dentist.
One may say TimeBanking, too, depends on the internet and power grid. Yes and no. Currently, TimeBank is utilizing the internet and electricity, but it originally came from pen and notebook beginning in the 1940s when a stay-at-home mother in Japan came up with the concept, as I reported earlier here.
FAST FORWARD TO TODAY
While attending the London School of Economics in 1982 as a fellow, the young Dr. Edgard Cahn sensed a perfect storm brewing; Baby boomers were getting older, social services were drying up, and the dollar was losing its value. It was in 1995 that Dr. Cahn would launch TimeBanks USA.
Dr. Cahn referred to the loss of the economy as “the frayed fabric of Community,” and he set out to reweave it.
Based on friends, family, and neighbors doing good deeds for one another, the core economy has been replaced by the dollar economy, which was fine while the dollar had value. But today, people, particularly the elderly, are forgoing home repairs, doctor’s visits, shopping, and so on because this economy is failing.
Dr. Cahn believed that, at the very least, TimeBanking could leverage what dollars you have to pay your rent, car, or student loan, etc. car/student while the TimeBank “hours” paid for local skills and services.
The beauty of TimeBanking is that it’s not incumbent upon outside forces “permitting” it or through the passage of legislation. The power is in our hands and begins with the smallest circle of people: garden groups, churches, homeschools, circle of neighbors and loved ones. One can expand from there.
TimeBanking also creates a standard of honesty. If one feels they are being taken advantage of in a TimeBank, they can simply choose not to do “business” with that person again. Your reputation for “showing up” and getting the job done becomes everything.
The benefits of TimeBanking are endless… and I get into more detail in my video commentary at the top of this post.
