Let me pick apart this misguided piece written by an Atlantic magazine journalist, Emily Oster. Yes, the same Atlantic magazine that essentially blamed the unvaccinated for every sin under the sun.
Dear Emily,
I finally had a chance to read your Atlantic publication, “Let’s Declare a Pandemic Amnesty.” I could hardly stomach getting past the headline. But I prophylactically took some Tums and carried onward.
First of all, I can’t help but question the timing of this spectacular consideration; that war criminals should be given amnesty. Particularly right before a big election…..
But I digress.
Firstly, I would like to start with the masks. Oy vey, the masks.
The vast majority of adults and, ultimately, children forced into masks without question are now being told that initially in 2020, “we didn’t know” the harm these masks could cause.
Really? I did. So did a heck of a lot of other folks. And we spoke up. Over and over and over and over again.
I was the only elected official (I was mayor of Nevada City, CA, at the time and resigned because of the Covid lies) who immediately and publicly called out Governor Newsom on Facebook the day he announced his illegal statewide mask mandate in June of 2020… only five days after getting OSHA approval for a secretive $1 billion mask deal he made with China (nothing to see here, folks). Every publication, news agency, my city council members, and the public at large came after me, attempting to eradicate me for having an opinion that did not reflect the official narrative around masks.
When Covid hit, it should have been the indisputable responsibility of every leader to conduct their due diligence and come to their own conclusion rather than abide without question the edicts of leaders gone mad.
In August of 2020, I went beyond simply reading up on the latest info and extended my research by immediately interviewing two individuals, one an OSHA and the other an HVAC expert, to clarify mask efficacy and how doctors and nurses use masks in surgical rooms under the most stringent conditions. Masks were never designed to be used by the public at large and for long periods. It was outright dangerous. We knew this in 2020.
It was apparent then, per OSHA, that N95 masks and cloth coverings gave no added protection and only ripped humanity out of society.
That original OSHA interview is still available here. I sent it to my elected officials and the public health department director.
They all ignored it.
Your following quote, Emily, required I take another Tums to get through, “When vaccines came out, we lacked definitive data on the relative efficacies of the J & J shot vs. Pfizer and Moderna.” Duh! Ya think?
That was because it was a gigantic experiment and the global population was about to be fallaciously duped. Do you not remember THIS is why those shots even received EUA (Emergency Use Authorization) designation? Efficacy had not been proven yet because we were the intended guinea pigs. And by January 2021, there was plenty of information regarding the safety or effectiveness of the mRNA injections and how they could change our DNA.
It was at this time I interviewed Dr. Sherri Tenpenny, who, for the first time, publicly described what was known to be the top 10 mechanisms of injuries from the Covid shots (now we know there are hundreds of mechanisms of injuries). This was the first time evidence was expressly provided about the mRNA ingredients. This video interview went viral. It received millions of views, and instantly YouTube took down my entire channel, forcing me to move to Bitchute.
Since then, I have been heavily banned and shadow banned on all social platforms. Obviously, that interview was a little too over the target.
I conducted subsequent video interviews in 2021 with Dr. Peter McCullough, Professor Dolores Cahill, Dr. Paul Alexander, Dr. Harvey Risch, Dr. Howard Tenenbaum, and the list goes on. And yet, these interviews continued to be ignored by those in charge.
But the big lynchpin to these outright lies was the obfuscation of other successful treatments that were available at the time. Evidence of this was immediately scrubbed from the internet. Doctors successfully practicing these therapies were subsequently threatened and medical licenses revoked, such as with Dr. Peter McCullough, who abided by his Hippocratic oath.
So let’s be very clear about this…. This wasn’t due to “uncertainty.” It was due to clear conscious deception.
Why do I say this? Because the only way a product could receive a EUA was if no other options were available….
However, we had options for alternative therapies then, such as hydroxychloroquine, Ivermectin, ozone therapy, and very high doses of Vit D, but they were being ignored, deleted from online, and marginalized,
If those options were publicly available (and known), Big Pharma would never have been given the green light.
In your article, Emily, you posit that some people intended to mislead and made wild “irresponsible claims.” Your proof is an out-of-context cherry-picked quote from Trump regarding “injecting bleach” into our bodies. However, this did not reflect the hundreds of other bonafide claims from the public and concerned citizens that today have been proven accurate. You used a most egregious statement as the foundation for your weak premise.
I need more Tums….
Then we have, ”Given the amount of uncertainty, almost every position was taken. On every topic. And somehow, every issue was eventually proven right, and someone else was proved wrong.” What malarky.
Everything we told our leaders and public health departments back in 2020/21 has been proven accurate. We weren’t wrong about any of it. It was spot on. They all chose to ignore it. So did the Atlantic, and obviously so did you.
“All of this gloating and defensiveness continues to gobble up a lot of social energy and to drive the culture wars, especially on the internet. These discussions are heated, unpleasant, and, ultimately, unproductive. In the face of so much uncertainty, getting something right had a hefty element of luck.”
We didn’t “drive the culture wars.” They were imposed on us.
And it certainly wasn’t “luck” in getting it right, either. It was simply keeping an open mind, not falling for the fear porn, and doing the responsible thing, which was research beyond the CDC-funded headlines. Nothing lucky about this at all. It was simply the responsible thing to do.
Now those of us who were right are being accused by you as “wanting to gloat.” There is nothing to gloat over. We now have to bear witness to our friends and loved ones suffering and dying around us. Their lives are permanently compromised because of a growing list of never before seen mysterious illnesses.
There is no gloating over all of the new cases of SADS. There is no gloating that in the last 18 months, according to the latest actuaries, we have lost 61,000 millennials to the shot. The nation was outraged in the 60s and 70s when it took us 18 years to lose 60,000 servicemen and women in the Vietnam war. Where is the outrage today?
We are not gloating because we are the ones who will be holding the bag and burying the bodies of our loved ones, cleaning up the aftermath. We are not gloating because we see our loved ones suffering and persistently denying how they got so sick. Many are still not putting two and two together and hobbling towards another booster.
When the schools, churches, gyms, parks, and beaches closed and businesses shuttered, fellow citizens and I regularly attended our county board of supervisor meetings like thousands of others across the nation. For 18 months, we were relegated to stand outside the county building for our “public comment” like lepers in snow, wind, rain, and smoke (ironically, all for our “safety”), and we were mocked, marginalized, demonized, and misrepresented by our leaders and the media.
Educated and informed citizens attempted to counter the false information in our local newspapers with thoughtful, well-documented comments that included official government links, only to have them immediately removed. Our voices were silenced. Every-single-time.
Our local “alternative” radio station unceremoniously closed its doors the day of California’s first day of Stay-at-Home orders occurred. Today, the only broadcasters who have returned to the airwaves are the ones who were willing to parrot the same narrative Newsom was spewing during his daily noon Covid updates. You can not be a broadcaster unless inoculated. And because of this, they have lost one of their founding broadcasters to Prion’s disease…. Nothing to see here, folks.
The only good that came out of the Stay-at-Home orders is that parents of newborns skipped their infant wellness checks and required childhood vaccinations. Sudden Infant Death Syndrome cases plummeted for those three months during the Stay-at-Home orders. If that isn’t a clue what is causing SIDS, then I don’t know what is.
It was during those first 18 months we gave our leaders and the public health department director(s) all the science and data they needed to make bonafide informed decisions, but time and time again, this was always ignored. We even brought a mother to the county supervisor meetings who had lost her teenage son due to the school closures, isolation, and loneliness that ultimately led to his deep depression and suicide.
That, too, was ignored.
We shared with our elected officials how Covid patients were being transported to nursing homes infecting all the elderly patients. The only thing separating the Covid patients from the non-Covid patients were red strips of tape down the center of hallways…. Because Covid knows, don’t step over the red line.
We pointed out the failings of intubation and the lack of deployment of early treatment.
We pointed out the unnecessary need, and psychological and emotional trauma masks would cause to our children. We received eye rolls for this, even from the parents. I don’t think their eyes are rolling now.
We pointed out the rising VAERS reports.
Ignored.
We called out that Public Record Requests asking for our county’s vital statistics were illegally denied. Why? Because the vital statistic (deaths and illnesses within the county) would not support the false narrative being forced on a psychologically traumatized public.
No, this was not by “accident,” Emily. Nor were these derelict decisions due to “not having enough information at the time.” We, the public, had access to this information and provided it to our decision-makers, who all chose to ignore it. This is called Reckless Indifference and is considered a war crime: A crime against humanity.
Those running the NIH, Public Health Departments, and the CDC do not deserve amnesty. If tried and found guilty they deserve a public hanging and this is not hyperbole. They are mass murderers, and the carnage is not over. It is just beginning.
Infertility, stillbirths, ravenous cancers, neurological disorders, paralysis, blood disorders, heart attacks, strokes, the shortened life spans will continue. This was all by design, and those at the top responsible for this carnage need to have justice served to them on a hot plate.
While I am not asking for an apology, you damn well better believe I and others are asking for acknowledgment of what we were subjected to and how those who idly stood by and allowed these crimes to be committed very much played a role in this nightmare.
We are not “dwelling on mistakes.” These crimes are still being committed. We are demanding this stops. Our local radio stations, newspapers, public health departments, and schools continue to push the kill-shot and receive CDC Covid funds to keep the lies going.
How can anybody even ask for amnesty while still committing the respective crime? Emily Oyster, how stupid do you think we are? And you, too, are complicit, just like the Atlantic. You and your paper were pushing this psychological & biological warfare on the masses. Somebody has to pay before there is a discussion of amnesty and certainly before forgiveness is given.
I suggest a Truth and Reconciliation process in every single county throughout the nation. We take every single one of our public health directors, elected officials, county CEOs, doctors and nurses, and heads of media, and we sit them down and have them spill the beans….. or take their chances in a court of law. The choice is theirs.
So, Emily. We were not “willful purveyors of actual misinformation.” We were freaking spot on the WHOLE TIME, and you and your cohorts have a lot of explaining to do.
