Beautifully written. My husband and I are a part of the victors, the pure bloods, that stood with a select few neighbors who chose not to get the jab. We live in a small, rural mountain community with a lot of other seniors, in Butte County. We were derided, isolated, ridiculed, shamed, even told we should be locked up. And still we stood. Those who took the jab don't understand what we went through. But, as you eloquently stated, we made long lasting friendships. We know who caves and who are warriors. May God continue to bless you Reinette!

Dear Reinette, Peter and I had one of the loveliest interviews with you just a few days ago--and now I learn you have since been in and out of surgery. Thank God you are recovering and safe! Your story immediately brought to mind Dr. Naomi Wolf's experience with appendicitis which became life threatening for her and I am relieved to hear you did not have to go through any more trauma than you did (and remain grateful that Dr. Wolf has fully recovered.)

We will be posting our interview with you on our substack in just 2-3 days and will let you know when the podcast goes up. Meanwhile, thank you for sharing your wisdom and insight with us all. Very best, Ginger

Reinette. . . who could write a more beautiful commentary on the medical system than you. Much love to you and Susan. How true the pot luck and open mic circles have been for us down here in Marin. Although back then they were our only lifeline to sanity, now they are still happening but with less seeming urgency of it being the only place we could go to breathe freely and thrive. Speaking of thriving my friend, I have so much admiration for you, and send you blessings and gratitude for everything you've shared in the past, and now for reminding us of the angels - seen and perhaps unseen that are supporting us in this age of, well, hmmm, in this new golden age. Heal Swiftly as you enjoy the blessings of the community you helped to spearhead! Blessings to you both. xo, Love, Marcia. xox

9/11 Boatlift- what an amazing story! I read it to my daughter. We were both stunned that we have never heard it before. Thank you Reinette for sharing it. I’m glad you are on the mend. Please continue to take care of yourself. You are an inspiration ❤️

Glad to hear you qre OK. Surprisingly colon hydrotherapy is the best way to relieve pressure on the appendix. The film I made called The Works Of Your Hands is about a therapist whose life was saved twice by colon hydrotherapy for a bad appendix then became a practitioner herself.

So happy you're on the mend! Grateful to be reminded about the angels around us if we pay attention. Thank you for the 911 boat lift story. It made me weep. I was living in New York at the time and watched the twin towers burn. I fed rescue workers all night long on a Red Cross boat behind the pit a week later. In tragedy after tragedy, it's not government agencies that provide the real help, it's citizens helping citizens. More people need to be disabused of the belief that government functions like a benevolent father figure which couldn't be farther from the truth. We need to become more self-sufficient and reliant on our local communities. Thanks for shining a light, Reinette.

What an adventure you’ve had! Grateful to hear you’re doing well and on the mend. Amazing community support story. And I love that you point out so often how we are all being guided, which we can know by opening our awareness and paying attention. Your mom and the angels are with you 💛 Sending you and your body lots of love and healing energy!

Prayers on your recovery Reinette and so happy the hospital experience was so positive and caring for you. Thank you for sharing your inspirational words on how covid brought people together which I so truly believe and how the boat lift on 9-11 rescued 500 K survivors. 🙏

oh, man. I'm really glad your hospitalization went well.

after the way two hospitals and multiple medics maltreated my mom's bacterial pneumonia for just over two years straight (they were so incompetent, to the point that I still wonder if denying her functional antibiotics was deliberate, that I have to say may her soul rest in peace,) my previous severe distrust of the medical industry has escalated to where I'm likely to either tough through something like appendicitis, or die at home, rather than risk one of those institutions.

Dear Reinette, So Very Glad to We’re properly diagnosed, treated and doing so much better! I expected your story to state you were tested for covid, as a requirement of being hospital admitted. A friend of mine has a mysterious small bowl obstruction (advid Vaccine pin cushion) “I’ve had shingles 3 times do you know what the side effects of the shingles (covid flu…) shots are she asked me. Shingles” I said, and she was still considering another “updated” shingles “vaccine”. Yes I agree we are all an eloquent collective of global citizenry. Take Good Care! R

Talking about angels, and the unseen guidance they provide, I can't help but feel your granddaddy General is immensely proud of you, and your other ancestors as well. Glad you're through the worst of your medical adventure.
