Yes, the burden has been heavy. The liability we've had for all of the freedom seekers/jabbers has been huge. They seem to be living their best lives, having a blast, traveling etc, as the rest of us have been unable to do anything "normal". We are the TRUE warriors. Also, finding other employment has been the name of this game. I've done some pretty crazy jobs this last two years including working at a tree company "manning" a wood chipper (hot, physical, filthy)- as a marketing executive I have never been too proud to do what it takes during these times because I will not give in or give up. I am honestly skeptical of this latest move - feels like gaslighting and who knows how long this will last but yes, we should celebrate the small wins. However, we must stay alert and vigilent. They owe all of us an apology + financial support for what they took from us. Also, if I were a jabber I think I'd be really angry and perhaps even regretful on how I treated the people that actually saw right through this from the beginning. What a travesty. Thank you Reinette! At the event I met you this summer I also met an attorney who works at CHD - it was an honor to meet both of you that day. The time you took to speak with me will never leave my memory as you were the first "politician" I've ever met (not like the list is long - at your status) that actually gets it - you are a true leader.
