BREAKING: U.S. Under Secretary Victoria Nuland Resigns
Head of Ukrainian snake, Nuland steps down. But immediate signs indicate there is no reason to celebrate.
Victoria Nuland, a central figure in shaping the brutal U.S. policy in Ukraine and who is known for her war hawk stance on the region, has announced her resignation. Nuland, the third-highest-ranking U.S. diplomat, played a key role in the 2014 Ukrainian coup. During that time, she gained notoriety for a leaked phone conversation (shared HERE) in which she was heard discussing her handpick replacement for Ukrainian President and notably expressing disdain for the European Union's position with a blunt "Fuck the EU, as highlighted in my Substack video in 2022:
Nuland's career has been marked by her cutthroat involvement in Ukraine, where she has been a brutal dictator of her own making. Her actions have been the catalyst of CIA-style interventions in the country's political landscape, and she is ultimately considered responsible for the loss of nearly 500,000 Ukrainian troops since the beginning of the engineered war in Ukraine.
But in the eyes of Nuland, it’s all Putin’s fault:
On the first anniversary of the Ukrainian war, Victoria Nuland tells Christiane Amanpour that 'suffering in Ukraine comes from Vladimir Putin's 'fantasy of conquest.'
Nuland’s leadership has been emblematic of the U.S.’s continued overreach in foreign affairs.
What is clear is the timing of her resignation following a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request by the Gateway Pundit to find out Noland’s role in the death of US journalist Gonzalo Lira in Ukraine, who died Jan. 11. in Kharkiv prison.
While some may see her departure as a signal of the end to a contentious chapter in U.S.-Ukraine relations, I’m not holding my breath. Because if her interim replacement is any indication of the direction this is going, it doesn’t look good.
REMEMBER THE ADAGE, BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU ASK FOR
Nuland's successor, albeit temporarily, will be John Bass, a US diplomat who deteriorated relations between the US and Turkey. During his three years in Ankara, Turkey, his outgoing US envoy interfered in many domestic Turkish issues and judicial matters.
Bass was the highest representative of his country in Turkey during FETO’s July 15, 2016 defeated coup attempt, one of the most critical incidents in Turkish history.
But he failed to explain to his bosses in Washington the importance Turkey places on the extradition of U.S.-based FETO members, most especially its leader Fetullah Gulen.
Moreover, when reports emerged that Adil Oksuz, one of the top suspects in the coup bid, made a telephone call to the U.S. Consulate in Istanbul just days after the defeated coup attempt, the U.S. mission claimed it was a “visa-related” conversation.
Furthermore, several telephone conversations between suspects in the National Intelligence Organization (MIT) trucks case and the U.S. diplomatic missions in Turkey were documented in an indictment on the case prepared by the Istanbul Public Prosecutor’s office.
Despite a request by the prosecutor’s office, the U.S. missions have yet to offer an explanation.
Though Bass used to issue rapid reactions on Turkish-related issues, his comments over the deadly coup attempt were lagging, coming three days after the critical events.
During his tenure as the U.S. ambassador to Ankara, John Bass faced criticism for interfering in Turkey’s domestic affairs, including judicial processes. This was particularly highlighted by his comments on the arrest of a U.S. Consulate employee linked to the Fethullah Terrorist Organisation (FETO)-related investigations that were considered sham trials (remember, war is theater).
Bass also faced backlash for his failure to communicate Turkey’s stance on FETO extradition issues effectively and the failure to extradite centrist political figure Fetullah Gulen, which is seen as a political decision and is considered an 'unlawful stance,' according to Turkey’s justice minister.
Furthermore, Bass’s selective engagement with Turkish media and his remarks highlighting the dysfunction between the U.S. and Turkey have stirred controversy, casting his diplomatic approach as contentious in the eyes of Turkish officials and media.
Also, interesting timing for Bass’ upgrade to Ukraine considering this:
Is Bass being rewarded for getting Sweden into NATO after that nation’s 200 years of neutrality?
I can only imagine what Bass will do as Nuland's interim.

Martin Armstrong is reporting she will still be 'consulted' which according to his computer forecasts doesn't change anything. From public to private. Shell games aren't just for shells, more likely for shills.
Victoria "F the EU" Nuland. That's how I first came to know of her in early 2014. What a heinous piece of shit...
