part of the problem is we all have our end points. maybe fishing like farming should be smaller. using nets that kill everything. so disrespectful, drift nets. i'm a vegan if you want fish get a line. don't use mass corps. you want viggies grow a garden. we need to stop supporting big business. they disrespect mother earth
Great conversation, Reinette! And thanks for pointing out that traditional medicine is NOT allopathic medicine! I left western medicine years ago and never looked back. Haven't been to a doctor in years after healing holistically from a chronic illness in my fifties. Went on to study lots of modalities. Yeah, I know people will say "but it's good for emergencies" and yes, true. But, I've had a few and managed them alone (I'll be 70 in a year) with plants like Yarrow and even Chamomile, Lemon Balm, and Peppermint, along with breath-work and meditation when I went into shock after a bad fall, hand gashed to the bone. I had green stitches from the Yarrow and there's no scar. But, I'm probably preaching to the choir since you hiked across Alaska alone! :)People are really going to need to learn how to care for themselves and their loved ones. 🌿💚
