Preparing for turbulent times requires shoring up your life, gathering what you need to make the transition, and restoring the balance on your land or in your neighborhood....
Love all this info!! Ordered a few books. Right now I am taking a Herbal meds and Tinctures class. Keeping my head in the books and getting ready to put my hands in the dirt. Thank you as always for sharing your knowledge. The world is a better place because you are in it!!!!
This is fabulous to hear. I am literally covered in foxtails and splintered weeds, tackling my backyard with a weedeater to begin laying down the cardboard and wood chips in preparation for the mycelium-based soil. I'm so excited about this process..... have been dreaming about it for years.... but finally in action. Keep me posted on how your herbal meds and tinctures class is going! I'm very excited for you!
we are so used to calling somebody to fix it. yesterday, I removed the back tire (think chain and gears) and tube from my bike for a flat. a friend said, what? take it to the shop. Nope, it was way easier than I ever believed it to be. and now that skill is tried and true! push yourself through needing somebody to do things that you don't have experience - you will be surprised how easy some of it can be. irrigation is also easy once you understand the nuances. much love Reinette

Perfect example. And also, think about how empowering a simple act that was. For most of us, we have forgotten what we can do..... thanks for sharing.
It's the best feeling in the world to achieve something new and different at any age. Cheers to being - and staying - empowered.
