Cannot even watch this. This is about criminal behavior, in my view. People were harmed, right?! Did not receive the medications for which they paid. Those who gave in good faith were betrayed. Are they not the true victims in this? Class action lawyer step up please. Wow.
I agree with comments below- First AFLDS needs to change its name. Because once this gets out, all of the nefarious activity by Dr. Gold will ruin a well-meaning organization. I am completely shocked by this. My husband and I have given to this organization since they started and now we wonder if our hard-earned dollars even went to the organization or did it go directly into her pocket?? When this is all said and done, AFLD can't exist as a name. Change the name. Gold can't be associated with it in any capacity. Real doctors won't want her around.

Dear Reinette- after listening to this latest interview- I now understand why you pursued this issue. I really appreciate all the time you spent to sus this out- and I agree with Jenkins- putting yourself on the line. I copied the links to your shows to our local WAPF group after someone posted on this issues and was immediately attacked. I do understand this emotional response. Simone Gold is a persuasive , attractive speaker- she has a lot of moxie- and knows how to work a crowd- I've heard her speak and she speaks with authority. But it's very clear- after the discussion and facts that you have laid out- that she is clearly misguided- and a very clever manipulater or mentally challenged. I do hope that 'right' persists- because our courts are a shambles - justice hard to find- and I think the dark side would like nothing better than to keep this fraud afloat. I think we are looking towards a long fight- given this interview- where she is blatantly lying. It feels like she is coming our swinging, in order to keep this going. Personal observation: When I was in a zoom meeting with Simone about this a few weeks ago, I asked her about Leigh Dundas working for AFLDS. She answered that AFLDS never hired Dundas. However, when I looked back in my notes, I found Simone referring to Dundas as part of her "legal eagle dream team".
That's just one data point, and I don't claim to know what all happened, but it certainly feels like there are nontransparent relationship games being played.
Addendum: Did she lose perspective, or was her mission to appear to apparently lose perspective?

Also, an aside-- Im glad Brannon Howse had Gold on so we could hear what she has to say, but I wonder what his inner thought bubble conclusions are on Gold. I'm sure he's had access to what Reinette's reported. I wonder what he thinks about it.
Money, greed, and ethics are the problem in this organization. I think it would be better to change the name, with smaller print saying, 'formerly named AFLDS'.
Also, a better system for finacial accountability with checks and balances required. Two separate independent signatures need to be required for how money is spent.
Another accountant can oversee the office financial transactions every 3 or 6 months to keep everything legal and ethical. This level of accountablilty may help regain the public's trust.
