I knew lines were getting long at the Tesla charging stations. One can’t be surprised. There are more Teslas on the road now than ever, and it seems the expansion of charging stations isn’t keeping up the pace for all the new Tesla owners.
I’m still wondering how people will fare when the power goes down. At least some gas/diesel stations now have backup generators to keep the pumps going for a while.
I didn’t know that Tesla has not been paying some of its “partners” since November 2021 who installed Tesla charging stations on their commercial properties.
Here we have one such gas station owner, LB, closing down his charging station for failing to receive payment from Tesla. LB claims that he hasn’t received payment for the charging stations installed at his Beaver, Utah, gas station and is being “ghosted” by Tesla. They won’t respond to his inquiries and LB’s demand for back payments.
From Salt Lake City to St Georgia, Utah, the charging stations have essentially been “brown-bagged.” How many other places are or will be experiencing the same very soon?
This sure takes a bite outta California’s Governor Newsom’s attempt to force the state to transition to all-electric vehicles by 2035
Once the public begins to find out what is happening with the charging stations and what is happening regarding payment to the Tesla “partners”, things may start to look even bleaker. Don’t expect the expansion of charging stations to keep up with the pace of new Tesla owners.
One has to ask why in the world would Tesla shoot itself in the foot like this? Do they foresee something we don’t?
You’d be best to throw that gas generator in the back of your Tesla if you run out of luck!
