It was reaffirming with how I see God has touched the hearts of all His creation, and together we can work towards affirming life. The value of all creation, and commanded to steward it well. Not take away or add to what was made perfect, but care for it. With thanksgiving & praise. Mankind was meant to walk with His God, but chose his own way, after given volition, or free will, and not trusting, believing, or even obeying the Creator. Taking the fruit off the one forbidden tree, and their eyes were opened. Now there were lots of choices. Good & bad. The first meant to prosper, the second, cloaked in lies of distraction, doubt, uncertainty, fear, and decisions we had no idea, would lead to a deconstruction of what was good & lead to death. Come together peoples, while we’ve received a window of great opportunity. Peace ☮️

Thank you so much. I know you are a DIVINE LEADER as Patricia Cota Robles in one of her VLogs inspired us to pray into being for the evolution and ascension of all Humanity, the Elemental Kingdom, and Mother Earth. We will soon start again in LOVE and reverence for ALL LIFE. This tribal GIVING to us will help us to take our personal power back.

Well said, Sharonmo. Praying regularly... we could all use some ascension.

Yo Reinette & Her Reinettes: While gratitude is a quality we may enjoy to activate daily, tomorrow's Thanksgiving is yet another moment of reflection for the beauty of life, the healing of our being, the friendship and the love we have enjoyed and continue to cherish and wish upon all our friends, wherever our destiny takes us. BEST OF THANKSGIVING DAYS 2U All!

Dear Reinette, I'm not at all surprised that you would send something as meaningful as this. Thank you. And thank you to your friends who sent it to you and to the Iroquois, of course. It is exquisite. I’m about to head into the woods as our first snowstorm of the season in NH drifts down, and the words of the Iroquois will be with me for sure.

Yours was one of my first Substack subscriptions and I am always touched by not only your intelligence and your drive to get things done, but mostly by your heart. You are so authentic, and I’m happy and grateful to have “met you” here in this space.

Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours. 🧡🧡🧡

Thank you, always, for your kind words, Barbara. Enjoy that NH snow. We are still a ways away from our first snowfall! Thank you, as well, for being one of the first subscribers to the Foghorn! It's because of you I'm still here! Have a beautiful Thanksgiving weekend.

Thank you for your beautiful Thanksgiving offering. I spent the whole day in gratitude--with others, and by myself. It's been my experience that the more gratitude you feel and show others, the more grateful and soulfully authentic people you attract. For me, living in gratitude is living in the solution instead of the problem. If I want to be happy, I have to be of service and be grateful for everything I have, and for life itself. If I look for the beauty in something, I'm grateful; if I look for the flaws, I'm in a perpetual state of dissatisfaction and unhappiness. Through prayer and meditation I practice turning my attitude in the direction of contentment for what I have instead of towards what I can get.

I'm right there with you, Kimpeccable. The more gratitude that goes out, the more joy comes my way. Such a beautiful state of reciprocity.

And the early settlers called them savages? Seems The Iroquois are far more in tune with the Creator than most religious people. I have long admired the harmony with creation they enjoy. I try to emulate that every single day because that is where I feel my connection with God and the peace that comes with that.

Thank you for sharing this Reinette. The words are beautiful and what they convey is priceless. The world needs a whole lot more of this harmony.

I agree, Dawn. Especially now, the world needs a whole lot more of this harmony right now!

So beautiful! My husband has recited this address and/or its sentiment in Sundance ceremonies.

Thank you Reinette for your contribution to the world. You are truly an inspiration for all, reminding us the significance of the day and how a small group of people can change the world. We need this now more than ever.

Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours. May all beings everywhere be happy and free, and may the thoughts, words, and actions of my own life contribute in some way to that happiness and freedom for all. Lokah Samastah Sukhino Bhavantu.

Love and Blessings,

Greg

Thank you Reinette. This is a truly beautiful photo ... prayers of thanks go out to the Iroquois natives who sacrificed their lives to assist the new settlers in finding food and shelter on their land.

I agree..... much sacrifice came from this. Reflecting and sending out much gratitude is the least we can do!
